Today's travels take us to one of the newer stamp dispenser locations, on the Nautilus continent,
Mala Regional Airport. In the ever immersive attempt to make a real adventure out of this trek, and to show off the numerous airports where stamps are available, I decided once again to take the trusty Dani D-50, emblazoned with the BBB logo, and make an actual plane trip out of it.
Starting out from
BBB Airbase at Campbell Airfield (accessible to any Campbell Coast resident), you can just take off from runway 27 (which passes right over my log cabin in Campbell Coast, I realized) and take a few lefts and a right to take the Seychelles channel that connects Corsica to eastern Nautilus. I chose to stick mostly to coastal waterways, and give myself plenty of room for approach with a downwind leg to the Brigantine region, turning west and picking up the base leg at the Kuhnke region.
That should put you 2-3 regions to runway 36 at Mala. The airport is at 250 meters, and there are some obstructions to avoid in Kuhnke, so I would give yourself plenty of room (maybe 350 meters alt) to avoid all that and still set yourself up for a landing on the runway, which is along the western edge of the region.
Click this link and you can mark the touchdown point of runway 36 to use as a beacon. Keep a close eye out, as there are a number of skybox airports in the region, and it's easy to get confused.
Mala Regional airport says it features Skydiving during the week, so that might be something for you adventure seekers out there to take advantage of. It boasts a blue paintjob for it's airport hub as well as the fleet of aircraft scattered throughout.
As for the stamp dispenser, if you're flying in, just enter into gate number 1 on the left side of the building and you'll see it on your right.
However, if you're a casual "grab and go" type or not a pilot, you can land at the location linked at the top, which is the same is on the BBB notecard. However, if you go this route, the stamp is a little more difficult to find, but search for the ticking area, and you'll find gate 1 on the far west side of the building.
As for airport amenities, I think this might be a newer airport, but they have lots of RP areas, like a pilots lounge, a skydiving classroom, and even a travel booking section where you can play the part of travel consultant (as long as you don't mind scheduling computers with screens that date back to 2013, with multiple checkouts and cancellations.)
