Stop #24: The Riverbridge Cafe in the Capitol Springs region of Bellisseria

It is so cool when someone takes a traditional Bellisseria home and turns it into something unique!  Having bumped into Becca Ordinary in my travels, and after seeing the stellar opening of her new cafe last week, it only seemed logical to sojourn over and take a look for myself.  This entry is all about The Riverbridge Cafe in Capitol Springs in Bellisseria.

And this entry is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!!  The venue is aptly named because Ms. Ordinary has snagged a spot in Bellisseria that is EXTRAODINARY!!!  Right along the river and with one of the many Bellisserian bridges next door, this is a picturesque spot for ANYONE, and the fact that it has been turned into a public venue says volumes about the unselfish nature of the owner.  They want EVERYONE to get a sample!

As you enter the cafe from the river side entrance (and why WOULDN'T you?!  It's the best way to take in the whole experience, taking a walk down the cobblestone path, strolling along the river and all the riverbank homes in this area!) you are met with a coffee bar, featuring one of the better espresso makers in Second Life.  Stop in, relax and make yourself a coffee, tea, hot chocolate ... plenty of choices!

And what coffee bar/performance venue would be complete without a tastefully designed lounging area complete with dance pole, I ask you?  These things are becoming all the rage in even your most modest of designer homes.  I must confess, I couldn't help by take a spin around it myself.

The lower lounge section also sports an attractive Madpea Tank Pool, so you can pull off those boots and socks, and give those tired tootsies a soak, as you bask in the sun.  It's a very tranquil setting, and with a modest amount of privacy ... for a public venue, of course.

The upper deck is where all the action is, but you get all the positives from a featured DJ or singer, as well as the opportunity to take in all that the Linden Moles have designed in the area, as the deck looks out, once again over the adjoining riverbank.  For the BBB Passport-ers among us, it is here on the upper deck that you will find the Passport Stamp Dispenser.  Truly a unique and selfless build in a prime location!

  1. Maybe that's a Fireman's Pole? ;D
We love this place! Truly generous as Becca & Elly are, this is a perfectly beautiful place to visit and so much fun to party! Hard to believe that deck that held up 45 ppl (including Massive) was built by a Squirrel. She is a very special Squirrel who certainly knows how to party!
