Stop #25: Big Splash Adventure Oasis Water Park at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds (Temporary - til the end of August)

Today, because of it's temporary status, we take a quick trip to The Bellisseria Fairgrounds and Big Splash Adventure Oasis Water Park (WHEW, that's a mouthful!)  This is the second annual build by the Bellisseria Animal Sanctuary of this really fun family-friendly action-packed stopover for those who want to don the swimsuits and have an aquatic adventure.  It is only here until the end of August so get there while you can!

Upon taking the landmark, you land by the big sign.  Nothing subtle here, big fun, adventure, and a oasis from the trials and troubles of real and virtual like are promised here at this tropical-themed destination.

You'll find the entrance to the right as you are facing the sign, just search for the boardwalk and enter into an Eden of Amusements.

The creators have made it easy to obtain this limited edition BBB Passport Stamp, as the stamp dispenser is right in the middle of the open area with the twisting boardwalk, lounge chairs and comfortable tents where you can relax your cares away.

Did I say family friendly?  You bet it is!  There is a really fun playground with a small inflatable waterslide complete with water cannons, a great playground playset with it's own slides, merry-go-round, see-saw, swingset and other amusements for the little ones among us.

To get to the inner pool area with the GIANT WATER SLIDES, just continue to follow the meandering boardwalk path.  There are helpful arrows to keep you on course.  The pool features a number of inflatables to lounge and hangout on.  But, it's not secret, and there's nothing subtle about the draw being the large waterslides.  Just click on the spinning tubes over the water spouts of the slide you want to go up to.

Just sit on the tube once you get to the top, and enjoy the ride down to the inner pool.  Wash.  Rinse.  Repeat.  I would recommend trying it out at least once in mouselook view.  I had to research how to take a pic in mouselook, but it's pretty easy. After you bring up the snapshot window, go into mouselook, and when you get your mouselook view the way you want it, hold down the ALT key,  and mouselook is disabled briefly, then just snap away!
